What are Desktop Websites?
Desktop Websites are sites that you put on your desktop instrad of tose boring Windows Icons and background.
How do I install a Desktop Website?
First of all, download a Desktop Website from the download page. Then extract the Zip file to a directory you want. For example C:\Windows\. Now go to your screen properties (right mouse click on your desktop, then to properties). Choose as background the wallpaper.htm(l) file. And then you should have it done.
I've installed a Desktop Website, but I still see the icons ?!
Click with your right mouse button on your desktop, go to Active Desktop and click on View As Webpage. If you still see the icons, go to your Start Menu, then Settings and then Folder Options. Go to the View tab, scroll down to Visual Settings and make sure that "Hide icons when desktop is viewed as webpage" is selected. Then you won't see any Icons anymore.
Can I send in my own Desktop Sites?
